Sam Musariri has over three years’ experience in electronic and mobile health and six in the health sector. He is a qualified medical doctor with a Master’s degree in Medical Informatics and Telemedicine from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Sam's an entrepreneur at heart and has five years’ experience in business startups and management. He has been instrumental in the setup of Teledoctor, a Zambian-grown health ICT organization that leverages technology to provide health care services. At present he is involved in the development of several m-Health and e-Health programs whose major aim is to broaden access to cheaper and more affordable health care services. Sam focuses and emphasizes on the sustainability and profitability of such social impact ventures. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he plans to continue offering leadership, business expertise, and mentorship in the area of m-Health in Zambia and Africa.
